Michael E. Large
For nearly four decades, Michael E. Large has represented people and families facing catastrophic injury, medical negligence, nursing home neglect, and wrongful death. He has been in private practice since 1988 and has represented more than 6,000 clients.
Michael earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and his law degree from Northern Kentucky University in 1987. He is admitted to practice in Virginia and Tennessee and focuses his work on serious injury and wrongful death cases, medical malpractice, and nursing home and assisted-living negligence.
His early years in practice provided intensive courtroom experience and shaped a direct, prepared approach to advocacy. Michael is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Tennessee Bar Association. He is also a member of the North Carolina State Bar.
In 2001, Michael was selected to serve as Municipal Judge for Bluff City, Tennessee, a part-time role he continues today. Outside the office, he enjoys time on his farm, weightlifting, playing guitar, traveling, and growing organic produce.
