Michael E. Large was born and raised
in Wise County, Virginia. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Business Administration. Michael then earned a law degree from the Northern Kentucky University, just outside Cinncinatti, Ohio.
After law school Michael immediately founded the law firm of Large and Associates in Bristol, Tennessee and has been the managing partner since.
Michael E. Large has always focused his practice on litigation, including personal injury claims, commercial trucking cases, nursing home abuse and neglect cases, wrongful death
claims and workers’ compensation claims.
Michael is a member of the Amerlcan Association of Justice’s Section on Nursing Home Litigation. Michael has handled many nursing home abuse and neglect cases in Tennessee and Virginia.
In 1996 Michael was chosen to serve as President of the Bristol Tennessee Bar Association. In 2001 Michael was also ask to serve as a Municipal Judge for the City Of Bluff City Tennessee and continues in that capacity in a part time position.
Michael is married to Kathryn Ritzinger Large and they are the parents of three children. Michael enjoys playing sports with his children and helping instruct them in music.

Originally from Lee County, Virginia, Traci N. Hartley, graduated from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Sociology.
Traci later earned her Juris Doctor from the Appalachian School of Law where she also received the school’s Lawyer as a Problem Solver Alternative Dispute Resolution certification with a concentration in corporate arbitration.
She later joined Large and Associates in 2009, focusing her practice on bankruptcy, Social Security disability, wrongful death and nursing home abuse and neglect claims.
Traci is a member of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity, the American Bar Association and the Tennessee State Bar Association.
